Welcome to 2017 Swimarathon!

This is the official web site about the SWF Swimarathon,  organised by The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers.

The Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers is holding its twelth Swimarathon from 10th March until 12th March 2017 and is organised to raise money for J's Hospice, Rotary Charities, Nominated Charities by the Swimmers and other good causes.

In 2016 we  supported MacMillan Nurses and Rotary Charities. The event entails teams of normally up to 6 sponsored swimmers to swim for a total of 55 minutes. The sponsorship money will be donated to the Rotary Club of South Woodham Ferrers Charitable Trust to add to funds for the support of good causes.

Teams taking part can nominate 25% of the funds raised by them to go to their own charity

By holding the Swimarathon here we have not only been able to raise money for charities but also promote the pool's facilities for the larger community. This is a fun event which allows everyone to support charity at the same time.

The Rotary Swimarathon committee are dedicated to organising the event and trying to make sure that all of our supporters are well informed about it and will find it a fun event to be involved in. We have online team booking in, as well as using letter and telephone systems.
